                              The Committee

This page is dedicated to the Men and Women who tirelessly work without recognition and for no recompense, their only reward is the continuance of the group and to give back to the community in which they live. 

This is also a voluntary position within the group, it is made up from one member of each section, and parents from the sections, who aim is to provide support to the leaders in the form of finical help through fundraising, and assisting on larger scouting events.

These events have been in the past the groups fireworks, bag packing, port of Felixstowe family fun day and barn dances. All these events help raise the profile of the 24th Ipswich Scout Group, which helps recruit new children into scouting and adults support for the committee.

They hold monthly meetings and they have  chairman, and secretary, and the groups treasurer present. These meetings are light hearted and plan out the future of the group. With the group plan in place it enables everyone to be involved with the future of the group.
